I understand that as a Stingray Parent, I/we will be required to participate as a Volunteer during our swim meets. Volunteering is a key part of the sport of swimming, and it can be both exciting and rewarding!
My family will sign up for at least six total shifts (5 volunteer positions during the season and 1 volunteer position at the ISL Championships Meet). A description of available volunteer positions can be found under our "Volunteers" link on our web page. Visit the "Events/Swim Meets" link and you can sign up for volunteer positions for meets and special events.
If you sign up for a volunteer position, and are unable to honor your commitment, it will be your responsibility to find a replacement. If no replacement is found, each missed volunteer commitment will result in a $100 fine.
Families can choose to OPT-OUT of our volunteer commitment by paying a $500.00 exemption fee. If you decide to OPT-OUT of our volunteer commitment, please send an email to our team registrar at [email protected] to arrange to pay the volunteer exemption fee.
I have read and understand the requirements described above for parent participation with the Courtside Stingrays Swim Team. I understand that fulfilling the volunteer commitment is a condition for swim team membership.
