Wednesday March 20th
Today the Wednesday class read the book Another Celebrated Dancing Bear. We discussed the country Russia, we talked about ballets, and did a little dancing.
Russian tea and had cookies we're headed by all.

We played outside a lot and enjoyed the beautiful weather.


March 6, 2024

Our book for the day was, How to make an Apple Pie and See the World.

We studied Europe, France, Paris,  Vermont, Jamaica, and Sri Lanka.  We also talked about St Patties Day. Because we're going to be on spring break next week..

Today February 28, 2024
The book of the day was Papa Piccolo. we studied Italy, talked about Dad's, cats, kittens, and spaghetti.
We learned how to draw and color cats. a
Also play the game called Don't Eat Dad, and  made Italian cream soda.
We did the dry spaghetti stem challenge.
And talked about Leap Year. They each have an envelope they're not supposed to open till 2028.
Lunch break had to be inside because it was really cold outside.

We will be reading How to Make an Apple Pie next week




February 21st
We read the book Grandfather's Journey, and talked about Japan, as well as California.
Our art was Chinese paper lanterns with cherry blossoms, coloring our own kimono, and peanut butter and jelly sushi, and games with chopsticks.

And played outside and enjoyed this beautiful weather.


Today is Wednesday February 14th. We celebrated Valentine's Day today by making cookies and icing and decorating them.

We also studied the continent of Asia and China.
We talked about the Chinese New Year and the Silk Road.
We made dragons to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The weather was amazingly beautiful today we played outside a lot enjoyed the sidewalk chalk in frisbee.

We also made Brazilian lemonade that was supposed to made last week but I didn't have the right stuff.
