The Countryside Country Club Aquatics Dolphins swim team is designed to foster and enhance swimming skills, competitive skills, physical fitness, sportsmanship, team spirit, cooperation and most of all FUN!!!

Kids, if you want to try the sport of swimming this summer, it is time to sign up for the best team around!  We have been the starting point for many top-level swimmers.  But summer swimming is about fun and our team has the most fun!  Practice is offered 5 days a week, races are offered every week, and victory parties after the championship events several times each summer!  And when it gets hot outside, swimming is the coolest sport around!

Our summer swim season runs from April through July.  We participate in the Private Club League (PCL) which involves dual meets during the months of May and June, culminating with a Championship Meet in June; and the Pinellas Aquatic League (PAL) with dual meets in June and July, culminating with a Championship Meet.  The leagues compete under the rules of USA Swimming, America's largest program of guided fitness activity for children.  We have multi-year winning streaks as league champions of both the PCL and PAL leagues.  Our team is open to kids from ages 5 to 18 that know how to swim.

Swimming is a life-long sport that develops strength, endurance and coordination.  Swimmers learn the values of hard work and goal setting.  These skills help swimmers to perform well in the classroom and in life.  Swimming is a good starting point to develop skills that transfer to other sports too.  And, Swimming is a sport that can save your life.

The summer league is the starting point for kids to try competitive swimming in a fun and recreational setting.  For those that want to go to the next level, they can transition to year-round club swimming and state-wide competitions.  Many of the club swimmers that started on the Dolphins summer team still return to help out with the younger kids.
