Preble County YMCA Piranhas short course season is about to begin, Tuesday September 2nd 2025 to Sunday March 15th. We will swim both USA and YMCA meets during the short course season. The season run from Tuesday September 2nd 2025 to Sunday March 15th. Our practices will run Monday thru Thursday 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm based on the program you choose. All our meets are on the weekend.

THE PIRANHAS HAVE A TWO-WEEK TRYOUT, SO COME OUT AND GIVE THEM A TRY. Our team is a YMCA\USA year-round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The Piranhas has had the same head coach for the past 18 years. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor. The coaches provide assurances that the time children spend swimming will be quality time.

The Piranhas is a dual affiliated team we are a YMCA swim team and a USA swimming team and is part of the Southern Ohio YMCA Swim league. All participants need to be YMCA members, this can include a youth membership. We are constantly growing and training young swimmers to maintain a well-rounded competitive swim team.
