One of the big highlights (among many) of the meet was Danny Westervelt achieving not one, but two YMCA National times and missing a 3rd by .04 (50 free) also breaking a team record in the process in the 100 fly. Amazing!!
Two new Zone meet qualifiers. Espen Wespestad (100 & 200 breaststroke) and Derek Fleming (100 breaststroke) joined Gavin St. Thomas (100 & 200 breast) and Joey Biehler (100 back & 500 freestyle) who had already previously qualified for this prestigious meet. JOB WELL done boys!
All the swimmers that attended this meet did an outstanding job with numerous best times for many!!
Coach Shane & Alexis, Thank you for an outstanding job getting these kids ready to compete and your commitment and passion to our swimmers and the sport of swimming! I have never seen Coach Shane jump up and down with excitement like he did this weekend!
All three of us were thrilled to watch all the kids compete.
Parents, Thank you for your continued support of our swimmers, you truly are the best!
Congrats once again on a job well done, this is the reason the coaches enjoy the sport so much!!
