Recap of first dual meet vs. West Essex YMCA

Dear Parents,

Congratulations to all our swimmers who participated in our first meet at our pool on Saturday afternoon!

We already have several swimmers and relays who achieved State cuts, which is fantastic this early in the season! We also saw many personal best times, and many swimmers who achieved Bronze & Silver times!

Congratulations to our State qualifiers, Joey Biehler and Josh Watkins in the 100 IM , 11/12 girls 200 free relay of Alexa Sabanosh, Abigail Sanchez, Kaelyn Daggett and Barbara Hackett, our 13/14 girls 200 free relay of Penelope Biehler, Erin Winkleman, Eve Wilkinson and Sofia Kattner.

A big shoutout to our new swimmers, who did a tremendous job in their first meet. I hope you all enjoyed the experience and felt proud of your performances.

The meet results are posted under the “Results” tab on our website, and times have been updated in the swim database.
Note: Only USA-registered swimmers will see their times listed in the database. 

A huge thank you to all the parents who volunteered and helped make the meet run smoothly, it truly wouldn’t be possible without your support. Please keep in mind that we are tracking volunteer participation at each meet, and we ask that all families help out in some capacity throughout the season. We have many jobs (especially at home meets) that need to be filled, and we don’t want the same few parents to have to carry the load each time.
