All Star teams are great for boys and girls from 3 years old to 18 years old. This sport is one that is very disciplined and highly competitive. It is great for confidence and self-esteem. It also is a great way for your athlete to get and/or stay in shape. Competition teams allow the athletes to be a part of a close knit team that wins and loses together; they become a family of their own. Our teams will practice 1.5 to 6 hours a week, depending on the team they are placed on (30 minute to 1 hour tumbling class included). The athletes are expected to make every practice as the whole team counts on each other. They will learn a 1.5 minute to 2.5 minute routine, with choreography, jumps, tumbling and stunting. We plan on getting our teams to as many competitions as possible. Meaning we could travel at least once a month, sometimes more beginning in October/November until about May. (In a normal season without hiccups like Covid.) We hope to travel all over Nevada, Utah, Idaho and possibly California for 1 and/or 2 day competitions. If the team(s) place at a competition and depending on the competition, they can win and bring home banners, plaques or trophies for the gym, personal banners, champion rings, champion jackets, individual trophies and bids to bigger competitions. Competitive All Star Cheer is a sport unlike any that your athlete, as well as you, will fall in love with.
