EKI Day 1

Stefan Milosevic won the 13/14 Boys 1500 in a time of 17:07.35.  He had a smart race working methodically through the first 500 to put himself second and wore down the leader through the next 500 as he took the lead winning the event decisively.  

In the 800, Sarra Leung came in 4th with a hard fought race just back of a medal.  May Li battled in the early parts of the race staying third with the leaders until the race opened up.  She finished 8th out the 10 in the race.   Sara Whelan and Mia Bottrill both smashed their entry times to win their heats easily with 10:27.22 and 11:07.28 respectively.
