BC AAA Championships Day 1

Hyack second after first day.  Some really solid swimming from the 800/1500/4*200 fr relays.  3 club records in the relays, 3 gold 3 bronze and some great personal bests.  Fantastic!  Still lots of racing to go.

Add on: Sherry Liu broke Shannon Smith's 1978 200 Free record (girls 15-17) of 2:02.10 by going 2:01.93 in the first leg of the 4 x 200 Free Relay. This earns her $125 from Hyack Swim Club under our brand new Club Record's program.

Add on: Sherry Liu also broke Shannon Smith's 1977 800 Free record (girls 15-17) of 8:41.17 by going 8:40.54. Another $125 for her !!
