BC Provincial LC AAA Championships 2011 Day 2

Day 2 opens with as many finals as we had from day 1 with 16.  For Hyack to move up and catch some of the front runners we are going to need a big night!

Sara Whelan got it started in the right manner with a gold in the 800 free.  

200 back up next with a slew of Hyack in it. Linda Liu 7th moved up a spot and the club record.

50 Free had more Hyack swimmers in it than in the past with:

Hayden Pak 7th
Kristine Lawson 5th. She achieved her NQ in the prelim

400 IM concluded the individual swims:
Romina Worthington 4th
Stefan Milosevic silver!

400 FR Relays
12 & U Girls Silver !
15 and Over Girls 5th

Swims that scored from the prelims were
May Li 800 Fr 5th
Sarra Leung 5th and Abi Sayer 8th 400 IIM

Overall a much better team performance of the type we had anticipated heading into the meet.  Now we will see if we gained ground.
