PCS X-mas Cracker Day 1

After a solid morning session, Hyack swimmer's go back for a short but sweet finals session. Starting off were the relays. Hyack Girls A team consisting of Victoria Montgomery, Jasmine Whelan, Wendy Yang, and Nicole Cheng do the 200 Medley relay and came in 4th. Our boys team of Haydn Pak, Devon Joanis, Chris Baker and Brian Kang race to a 3rd place finish also in the Medley relay.

Sara Whelan raced to a 7th place finish in the 200 Free in the final; this is excellent considering it is her second travel meet in 2 weeks (she was in Toronto last weekend for the Youth Cup 2010).

Wendy Yang came in 4th in the 200 IM.

Haydn Pak came in 2nd in the 200 IM.

Chris Baker came in 8th in the 200 IM.

50 strokes were swam as timed finals during prelims. Wendy Yang (1st 50 Fly), Victoria Montgomery (6th 50 Back), Haydn Pak (1st 50 Back), and Chris Baker (6th 50 Back) all swam well in the 50's.
