Westerns Day 4
Strong swimming out of the crew in prelims leads to a good showing for finals. 200 free finals first with Sherry up who aggressively stalked the lead but settled for 8th in a tight race for 4th that had half second between four swimmers. Turns and streamlines everyone! Stefan up next with a great effort at 151.97 to come in bronze just shy of the 1980 club record held by Olympian Eugene Gyorfi. Next up Abi Sayer in 100 fly who swam to Bt and 6th with 104.12. Igor followed with his first A final where he continues to improve his time setting a new BT with 57.78 for 6th. Sherry up for the 800 where she blazed to gold with 837.73. Lastly Stefan in 1500 raced hard to silver for another BT and his 5th medal. Abi was named the hard hat.
From prelims Sarah Whelan went BT in both 200/800 free as well as Inder Pooni in 200 IM.
