Milosevic gold at Paul Bergen!

Mark Bottrill

Preliminaries were good for Hyack. With finals being a really tough level to get to it was vital to be fast in the morning. Best times in the morning came from Igor in both 50 free 25.26 and 50 fly 26.84. Mia in 50 fly 30.71 and 400 free 436.66. Sara in 200 breast 241.77 and 400 free 427.74 which was a heat win.
Finals started with Stefan 50 free where after a quick start by the ref which caught Stef a bit flat footed he came screaming home to get 4th and 23.48. Justin up next 50 fly with a great effort that really showed an upgrade on his underwater work as he finished 5th in the B with 26.16. Stefan was back up in 400 and played out a fantastic strategy staying with the leaders on an arm dominant swim then slowly picking his way through the pack as he picked up the kick to hammer home the final 75 to take the gold in 351.00 and two club records for 15-17 and Open. That swim ranks him in the top 70 in the world.
