Paul Bergen Day 3 Silver For Stefan

Preliminaries were typically hard fought for on this final day of the meet. No lull from the competitors to allow for an off swim to sneak into finals. Sara stated the day for us with a heat win in the 200 free which was right at her BT. Next up was Stef who set himself up for a great 200 final going in 4th The flyers came up next where Mia in the fastest heat was a bit swamped and came up short on a BT. Igor and Justin went after it with Igor going through in a BT for 16th. Justin back up again and qualified 15th for the 50bk.
The boys in 200 IM both were unfocused so those swims were not moving ahead. The 800 free finished the morning with Sara right at BT and Mia a bit off hers.
The finals started with Stef in 200 free where he blazed past the age group an open records on the way to silver and 149.11.
Next Igor in the B final dropping .13 to finish 7th in heat and a 57.55 BT. Justin finished the meet with a BT in the 50 back at 28.18 good for 7th in the B.
A very good meet cycle for our group and its great to be able to bring a squad back to this high calibre meet racing some of the best under 18 in the world.
