EKI Final Day

Mark Bottrill

Hyack closed the EKI with its third solid day and what amounts to the 9th session (or a week's worth of swimming senior practice schedule) over the trip. The goal here at this time of year is to put together a complete meet as a team with all warm ups and warm down controlled.
The meet proved to be a great environment for early season performance with heats over by noon and 3.5 hour breaks between the sessions. The team managers were excellent which helps the performances.
200 fly started the night with Jaime Lavoie claiming bronze and Zoe Froh 4th with her first AGN time. Chun Sing continued his strong meet with another big drop and a fifth place finish just off AGN. Chris Baker won the gold and was the repeat champion in this event.
In the 100 free Sehajvir was bronze in a close finish, Chris Baker 6th and Inder Pooni 7th all at BT.
200 Breast had Sophia Brunoro heading to the podium for a bronze and Zoe Froh 6th. Hannah O'Connor 8th and Victor Krawus with a big drop at 7th.
The 100 Back was the final swim for Hyack and Sehajvir finished his meet with another medal, silver. Inder Pooni was 7th in Bt.
