Red vs White Day 2 - 400 IM/200 FR/50 FR

Zachary Haw

The Langley Olympians Regional, Provincial, AGP, and National Groups competed in their second Red vs White Time Trials! The Red vs White Time Trial Event is one of the ways that swimmers in these groups will test their swimming skill and competence as meets are suspended due to COVID-19. So far, we have seen a lot of swimmers swimming their personal bests, if not close to their best.

Team Red is still leading by a small margin of 270 points! Team White is starting to make a move by having 130 more points in day 2!.

Two club records were broken in the process. Katie Schroeder (14 years old) attempted to break the 13-14 years old 100 Backstroke Record (Short Course) Club and Provincial Record. She broke the Club Record with a time of 1:03.09. She was the former record holder of this meet.

Kevin Dee (32 years old) broke the 30-34 years Masters Club Record with a time of 4:58.94. Kevin was the former record holder of the event.

Congratulations to all swimmers and fast swimming in Day 3!
