The fourth day of the Canadian Olympic Trials showcased individual event qualifiers but also the Men’s and Women’s 4x100 Freestyle Relay members. Of note is the Women’s 4x100 Freestyle is a favourite for medal contention. Canada won Bronze in this event in 2016. The Men’s 4x100 Freestyle Relay secured a spot after doing a time trial last month in the Take5 HP Meet.

Two Langley Olympian Swimmers, one swimming with National Group – Bailey Herbert and one alumna – Josie Field, swam today.

Current Langley Olympian National Group Swimmer Bailey Herbert made the 200 Breaststroke Final and finished 5th overall with a time of 2:29.36s. Bailey improved her time from heats to finals.

Alumna Josie Field made the 200 Butterfly Final and finished 5th overall with a time of 2:14.31.
