 Program Options

 

This program is designed for swimmers over the age of 18 and includes both Recreational and Competitive Masters. Our Masters swimmers include athletes who compete at the International, National and Provincial levels, as well as those who are learning artistic swimming for the first time.

Our goal is to have fun and stay fit in a program that offers both recreational and competitive artistic swimming training options. The program provides a great opportunity for our "retired" provincial and national level swimmers to reunite and continue to swim in a sport they remain passionate about. If you love the water and are looking for something beyond swimming laps, artistic swimming may be just the thing for you!

RECREATIONAL MASTERS PROGRAM

Performances

Participation in the year-end water show to be determined based on team interest and progression after the start of the season

*If required, Recreational Masters swimmers can arrange for their own team suits, at their own expense.

Recreational Masters Fees

Fees can be paid in full at time of registration or in two installments (one due at registration and the second due November 1, 2023 - you will be able to select your preferred option at the time of registration. Please refer to the GO Capital Artistic Swimming Payment Policy for information related to refunds and withdrawals.

 

Mandatory registration with Ontario Artistic Swimming/Canada Artistic Swimming: The link for registration and payment will be sent via email closer to the start of the season. Fee for recreational athletes for the 2023-2024 season is 25.00$ (plus processing fee).

 

Holiday and Pool Closure dates

Regular schedules will be modified as required due to pool closures, special events and holidays. In order to accommodate these, practice times, days, and locations may be rescheduled or canceled. These dates will be shared as soon as they become available.

Competitions

Competitions dates and locations for the 2023-2024 season have not yet been confirmed by Ontario Artistic Swimming. These will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

* We received feedback that Masters Competitive athletes would like routine suits to be coordinated by the club. This will be confirmed closer to the start of the season and, if suits are coordinated by the club, these will be billed separately.

** This fee does not include coaching costs. Should the team decide to be coached for the upcoming season, fees will be adjusted accordingly.  

 

*** Please note that university pools typically close for annual maintenance starting in mid-April and athletes will be rerouted during this period. We will strive to communicate any pool schedule changes as far in advance as possible.

 

Competitive Masters Extra Routines

Options for Competitive Masters duets and solos will be available for the 2023-24 Competitive Season. Available pool times are being finalized with the Lead Coaches. More information on available times will be available at the end of August or early September.

 

Competitive Masters Fees

A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 is due at time of registration. Fees can be paid in full or in installments based on the fee schedule for team and extra routine available during the registration process.
