The St. Thomas Jumbo Jets are a non-profit organization. The Club has to raise funds to pay for all additional costs that are not covered by our registration fees. There is a base amount that has to be raised annually to ensure that the facility, coach and other team requirements are covered. Fundraising is done so that we can keep registration costs to a minimum.
We are fortunate to have been selected as a recepient of charitable donations from Jackpot Time. In order to be a part of this organization the team is required to volunteer to work shifts 1-2 times per month. Each 2hr shift requires 2 members (with 2 back up volunteers just in case of absences) to assist in the facility with minor duties such as clearing tables, answering patron questions or greeting at the front door. In addition to our Bingo funds received, requests for sponsorships and grants are needed in order to meet our team's financial needs.
