Bethany Henry

Owner, Creative Coordinator

Bethany Henry is the owner and artistic director of Genesis Dance Conservatory. She began dancing in high school with her sister, and she has since studied ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern, lyrical, street jazz, acro, and ballroom dance. Bethany has had the opportunity to train with former Denver Nuggets dancer and YouTube sensations, Emily Sasson and Victoria Quintana, TapDogs cast members Donovan Helma and Jacob Stonebreaker, and Broncos cheerleader Margaret Foy.

Bethany has also danced and performed with the dance department at Pikes Peak Community College, and was a top 100 dancer in preliminary auditions for Season 14 of So You Think You Can Dance. She considers dancing to be her greatest passion and regularly encourages her students to dance for fun, from the heart, and with commitment.

Nikki Barnum

Instructor; Ballet, Jazz

Nikki has a love for children and works as a preschool teacher assistant during the day. She has been teaching dance to preschool aged children for about 8 years, and has been involved with cheer for over 20 years! She was a cheerleader while younger and has coached cheer for schools and dance studios for the last 8 years.

Jaelynn Bruce

Instructor; Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz

Jaelynn has loved to dance since she could walk. Her first dance instruction was when she was 13 and from that first Ballet class, she knew she had found her passion. She enjoys all types of dance – Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap. More recently, she’s been learning to Swing dance. Jaelynn also loves singing, music, art, photography and is currently learning Karate. Jaelynn is excited to spark joy and make learning fun for her students.

Lena Rodriguez

Instructor; Choir

I am a Colorado native who loves to sing! I have been teaching for two years and student taught for 1 year prior. I teach all aspects of music because one style doesn’t suit every voice. It is my goal to teach all my students to safely use their vocals and learn the fundamentals of music. The most important thing is to have fun and be confident in your singing/music!

Mckenna Ross

Instructor; Ballet, Tap

Mckenna has danced since she was 11 years old, in styles of ballet, tap, and jazz. She has found her true passion in tap. She would love to pass that passion along to others. Along with her love of dance, Mckenna enjoys piano, ukulele, archery, volleyball and reading. It is a rare moment you’ll find Mckenna without a smile on her face or an encouraging word.

Co-Owner, Office Manager

Scott Henry

Co-Owner, Office Manager

Scott Henry is Genesis Dance Conservatory's Office Manager. He can be found assisting parents with any questions they might have, building competition/recital props, and handling any new piece of technology for the studio.
