Coach Bill's Update - USA Swimming Registration IMPORTANT PLEASE REVIEW!!!

Ahoy hoy Bull Shark Aquatics,

This is an important email concerning USA Swimming Membership registration which all swimmers need to complete for the 2025-2026 season. This membership is required by USA Swimming for all swimmers who are on Bull Shark Aquatics and required by USA Swimming and Connecticut Swimming to compete in swim meets.  Bull Shark swimmers who already have a USA Swimming registration are also required to do a club transfer if they are on a new team. Please see the steps below for both.

Please make sure to complete the USA Swimming Registration as soon as possible.

Steps for New USA Swimming Registrations

First, you will need to create a "Parent Account". Please go to the login page https://hub.usaswimming.org/landing and create a login.

Second, you will need to register your athlete(s) as a Bull Shark Aquatics Swimmer for the 2025-2026 season! You will NOT click on the “add family member” link on your dashboard. This link is for current USA Members who are linking new ID’s to a parent account.

Please use this link to register your swimmer. It is a unique link for Bull Shark Aquatic swimmers only!

You are going to select NEW MEMBER and follow the prompts.

Swimmers 12/Under will be offered 2 different Membership options.

  • A Premium Athlete Membership will allow your swimmer the ability to participate in every swim USA / Connecticut meet Bull Shark Aquatics is attending and your swimmer qualifies for (sometimes there are time or age restrictions).
  • If your swimmer is a little more hesitant about meets, you can sign them up for the FLEX Membership. With this, they will be able to swim only 2 USA meets. If you want to start with a FLEX membership to see if your swimmer likes and wants more racing experiences, it is an easy upgrade on your account to a Premium Membership.

Please remember there is a cost for both membership options that are NOT included in your original Bull Shark Aquatics fees.

Returning Swimmers - IMPORTANT

If you are a returning swimmer, you must complete a club transfer from your previous team you were registered with before you came to Bull Shark Aquatics. For most swimmers that would be from Pisces Swim Club to Bull Shark Aquatics. This can be done on your dashboard when you sign in on USA Swimming account. You will see a Club Transfer option on your dashboard. Please complete the club transfer as soon as you can.

Returning swimmers please note that your current USA registration will expire at the end of the year and if you renew your registration now you will be good through 2026.
