Meet Updates: WPI December Meet & Age Group Time Standards

There are two BIG meet updates to share:

WPI December Meet:
The meet host has asked for 11-12-year-old swimmers to attend the morning session, with the option to swim in finals if they qualify in the top 10 during the prelim session.   Therefore, the 11-12-year-old swimmers have been moved to the 7am warm-up, 8:05 am start time each day (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

As a result, the afternoon session will now be only 10&under swimmers.  The benefit of a 10&under session is a slightly smaller, faster, timed-finals session within this fantastic swimming facility.  Anyone interested in making a trip to Worcester is welcome to attend.   Note:  Results & awards will be given out to the top 10 in both the 8&u and 10&u age groups.

Based on these changes, I have reopened the meet for 1 more week.   Our preliminary entries have been set to "hold" our spot, but I will send an update in 1 week based on any additional entries or changes needed.

Hotel information for Worcester is expected today and will be shared this week.

Age Group Championships:
CT Swimming has announced the Age Group Championship time standards for the 23-24 Short Course season.  No other information about this meet has been announced, yet.
