Coaching Staff
Wesley Crozier Director of Competitive Aquatics

Wesley Crozier began his coaching career in 2007 in Austin, Texas with the Reed Rays summer swim team.  He was given nothing but a roster of thirty swimmers and the keys to the pool. This first experience propelled him into a rewarding career working with student/athletes on a year-round basis.  He went on to serve as an assistant age group and senior coach with Frisco Aquatics, volunteer assistant coach with the University of North Texas women’s swimming team, head coach of Nutmeg Aquatics, owner/head coach of the Dallas Area Youth Triathlon Team, and head coach of the Soundview YMCA Stingrays.  He takes pride in the fact that he has worked successfully with swimmers ranging from beginners to elite competitors.

Wesley's coaching philosophy is to pursue a strong technical foundation from the start, emphasizing process over product, and building strong relationships between the coach and athlete and among team members.  With this philosophy and a desire to help young people achieve their dreams and build character and good citizenship, he aims to guide the Stingrays to great success.
