New & Re-certifying Stroke and Turn Officials Clinics
(Also re-certification clinic for Starters)

All Connecticut Swimming officials must be members of USA/Connecticut Swimming. Join after Sept. 1, 2013 and your registration will be good through December, 2014. Membership is $62. You need not join before the clinic, but it will speed your certification if you do. Join using the online application at Connecticut Swimming's website: ctswim.org under membership. Be sure to make your payment after completing the form.
Please allow two business days for your membership to be processed. You also will need to pass a Level 2 background check ($39 initially) and complete an online "Safe Sport" Training Course (free) at usaswimming.org to be members of USA/Connecticut Swimming. Officials are encouraged to contact their clubs about reimbursement for USA/Connecticut Swimming membership and other fees. Generally, Stroke & Turn officials clinics last 2 1/2 hours.
For credit, please plan to attend the clinic in its entirety.

Special Note: The Annual Officials meeting is Oct. 5th at 9:00AM for continental breakfast and 9:30AM meeting That meeting also meets the clinic requirement for re-certification for officials at all levels in Connecticut.
