ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL
This is for anyone that has a 2023 membership.
1. Log into your account at hub.usaswimming.org
2. If you or any members connected to your account are eligible for one-button renewals, you will see a red 'Renew Memberships' button at the bottom of the ‘My Family’ section of your Member Dashboard.
3. Click the 'Renew Memberships' button. A pop-up window will display a table with everyone who is eligible for renewal. If a member is eligible for multiple renewals (e.g., Athlete, Official, Coach, etc.), each renewal option will have its own line in the table. You may choose to renew more than one membership per member, if applicable.
4. Read through the information in the pop-up window carefully
5. Click the checkbox in the 'Select' column for each of the memberships you want to renew. NOTE: A 'Change Member Type' button in the 'Select' column indicates that the membership can be renewed as a different member type. An example of this would be renewing a Flex membership to a Premium membership. To change the renewal membership to a different member type, click the 'Change Member Type' button, select the member type you'd like to renew as from the dropdown, and click ‘Save.
6. Once you've made your selections, click the red "Renew" button. The renewal(s) you’ve selected will be added to your cart, and the membership information for each renewing member will be displayed.
7. Click 'Continue' to proceed to the checkout and pay for your renewal(s).
8. Review the items in your shopping cart and click ‘Check Out.
9. FINAL STEP! To complete the payment process, enter the payment information and click ‘Pay.’ Member will receive confirmation email of payment and renewal.

The 2024 registration cycle for USA Swimming/Middle Atlantic Swimming begins September 1, 2023. All individuals registered on or after September 1, 2023 will be members from the date of registration thru December 31, 2024.
In 2023, USA Swimming launched a NEW online registration process with the introduction of SWIMS 3.0. All registrations must be completed online.
Members will be able to access their personal account at any time to update or review their records after creating their account. Members that did not register for 2023 must create an account prior to renewing membership. This includes renewing memberships in the same category (athlete-athlete) as well as anyone registering after a break and changing membership category (athlete-coach, official-coach, etc) How do I set up my new SWIMS account if I already have a membership? If you have not created a new account, do not select "forgot password" as you have not made one yet. Personal information edits (address changes, email updates, etc.) will be solely the responsibility of the member.
If you are registering as a Middle Atlantic/UNATTACHED (MA/UN) member of USA Swimming, continue. If you are registering with a club, please contact the club for registration information and links specific to the club.
The directions below are for NEW PARENTS of UNATTACHED athletes that have *never been registered with USA SWIMMING*. If you are an existing USA Swimming member, please scroll down!
All members now register and pay their USA Swimming/Middle Atlantic Swimming membership fee via the SWIMS 3.0 platform on the USA Swimming website provided by the linkthat should be requested at [email protected] .

Step 1: Create a new USA Swimming membership account by clicking HERE. Click on CREATE A LOGIN.
Step 2: Fill in your email address, a new username, and a password. Click SAVE.
Step 3: Look for Verification Email and enter Verification Code.
Step 4: Once you verify, you will have to login using the credentials you just created.
Step 5: Have you ever had a USA Swimming membership? If you are BRAND NEW to swimming and have never registered with USA Swimming, you will click NO.
Step 6: Finalize your account by entering the information.
Step 7: Once you have reached the portal that says My Family & My Account…
Step 8: 2024 Registration link will be available after September 1, 2023. Please contact the Middle Atlantic Swimming office for the unattached membership link. Email: [email protected].
Step 9: After you click the link, it should take you to USA Swimming Online Member Registration site and should say:

Step 10: If the information is correct, click continue.
Step 11: Who is the membership for? You are registering your swimmer, so click on : The Membership is for someone other than the logged in user
Step 12: Click on I am a new member or I am an existing member
Step 13: Please fill out the About Member for YOUR swimmer.
Step 14: Enter Emergency Contact Information (there is an option to add additional contacts, if needed)
Step 15: Please click on PREMIUM ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP or FLEX ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP
Step 16: Please answer the next few questions
Step 17: Look over & confirm Membership Summary information and click continue
Step 18: Check out & Process Payment

Step 1: Create a new USA Swimming membership account by clicking HERE. Click on CREATE A LOGIN

Step 6: Please enter Member ID (this is not the old USAS membership number, the is new totally random number) if you do not have the new Member ID, please click USE ADDITIONAL INFO
Step 7: Fill in the information and click submit (make sure the questions above is answered YES.
Step 8: Click on the email address associated with your USA Swimming account.
Step 9: Click on SEND MEMBER ID (will take 10-15 seconds).
Step 10: Enter the Member ID and click LINK ACCOUNT
Step 11: Please verify the legal acknowledgements and sign the form.
Step 12 Once you have reached the portal that says My Family & My Account…

All athletes 18 yrs. old and older complete the Athlete Protection Training on the USA Swimming Safe Sport site, or risk suspension of their USA Swimming membership.
As stated above all adult athletes (any over 18) must complete the same Athlete Protection Training (APT) as all adult members. Any adult athlete does not have the APT attached to their record is not considered a valid member. There is no grace period for completing the APT. It must be done prior to the 18th birthday.
Athletes must create their own USA Swimming account prior to completing the APT. The credit for the APT will be given to the account it is completed under.
If they compete in a meet, their times will not load. Times are removed by USA Swimming prior to Middle Atlantic seeing the meet results. We cannot add these times.
