FAST SWIMMERS SHOW UP STRONG AT INAUGURAL RISING RIDE SENIOR MEET
Irvine, CA -- Over Halloween weekend 16 FAST swimmers raced at "Our Rising Tides", a new Southern California Swimming senior meet. Our contingent returned home with 37 new lifetime bests, fantastic Finals racing experience, and 18 new USA Swimming National Age Group time standards.

Congratulations to Katie Ho, Kenneth Ho, Kevin Ho, Gregory Kim, Bryce Pak, and Rhett Parker who achieved best times in all of their events! Shae Kennedy, Dylan Khajavi, Yejun Lee, Ratana Miller, Mykel Park, Morganne Wanke, Olivia Woodward, and Isabella Zia also achieved best times in one or more events.
Kenneth Ho, Yejun Lee, Ratana Miller, and Caleb Yoo each earned Finals swims in multiple events.
- Kenneth improved his times in both Prelims & Finals in the 200 IM (2:05.81) and 400 IM (4:25.98) earning new AA times in both events.
- Yejun posted a lifetime best 200 Back in Prelims, then again in Finals. His final time of 1:57.41 was an improvement of 2.97 seconds, a new AAA time, and earned a 4th place finish overall.
- Ratana raced to a lifetime best 4:47.67 in the Prelims of 400 IM, a drop of 2.81 seconds. She finished 23rd in Finals with a second-best time.
- Caleb earned second swims in the 100 Back and 200 Back. In the 200 Back B Final he improved by 2.93 from his Prelims swim, winning the heat in 1:58.95.
This meet concluded several weeks packed with racing for the Senior 2 group's 16 & Under swimmers, serving as preparation for the upcoming championships. Great job, everyone!
