PAN EARNS FIRST FUTURES CUT AT LEGENDS OF COACHING MEET

La Mirada, CA -- Five National group swimmers competed at the Southern California Swimming Legends meet, tuning up for championships cominng up later this season.
 
Eveline Grannis & Yves Pan led the way on the first day with great swims in the 1000 Free.  Eveline turned in a lifetime best 10:19.34 for 18th place overall in the women's event.  Yves cut 7.78 seconds off his time for a lifetime best 9:34.22, earning his first Futures qualifying time.  Congratulations, Yves!
 
Eveline notched another best time in the 200 Free (1:55.48).  Yves also improved in the 100 Free (48.77).  Tyler Huey raced to two second-best times in the 100 Free (47.48) and 1650 Free (16:23.21).  Rohan Parker cut 1.34 seconds off his 200 Back time for a lifetime best 2:01.35.  Toby Swanson swam a season best in the 1000 Free (10:14.65), his third best time in the event.
 
FAST's professional group also had a great showing at the meet with several time improvements.

  • Santo Candorelli - 100 Fly, 45.56 (1st place)
  • Calvyn Justus - 50 Free, 19.42 (1st place)
  • Natalie Kan - 100 Fly, 51.48 (1st place)
  • Marina Spadoni - 100 Back, 54.73 (2nd place)
