SEASON-ENDING SUCCESS AT SECTIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Walnut, CA -- Seven FAST swimmers competed in the CA/NV Sectional Championships last week posting 9 lifetime bests!

Eveline Grannis

- 500 Free -- 5:00.80, improvement of 0.74 seconds
- 1000 Free -- 10:16.58, improvement of 2.76 seconds for 15th place overall
- 1650 Free -- 17:12.22, improvement of 0.12 seconds for 5th place overall

Yejun Lee
- 1650 Free -- 16:52.75, improvement of 2.49 seconds
- 400 IM -- 4:14.21, improvement of 0.54 seconds

Ratana Miller
- 1650 Free -- 17:51.07, improvement of 6.62 seconds

Yves Pan
- 500 Free -- 4:38.41, improvement of 1.28 seconds

- 1000 Free -- 9:32.05, improvement of 2.17 seconds for 14th place overall
- 1650 Free -- 15:59.07, improvement of 7.26 seconds for 16th place overall

 

Tyler Huey posted a season best in the 50 Free (22.16).  Abby Guevara posted her third-best time in the 100 Free (54.69), her third time dipping under the 55-second barrier.  Both of Abby's other sub-55 swims came at the Hawaii Senior Champs meet last month.  Toby Swanson posted his second-best time in the 1650 Free (17:03.52) and third-best in the 400 IM (4:25.58) and 500 Free (4:55.25), just three weeks after swimming lifetime bests in those events at the Hawaii Senior Champs.
