End of Season Updates
Good Morning!
This past weekend we had our July Time Trial and it was a great success! Our team results have been posted to our Fast Fins Elite website. You can find it under the Swim Meets tab. We had huge improvements and was a fun day for swimmers to come together and show off their hard work! We had 6 different swimmers hit USA Swim National Time Standards including 8 ‘B’ times and 2 ‘BB’ times! Our next Time Trial will be in September! Our End of Summer Awards Banquet is scheduled for August 8th 6:00pm at Dave&Busters in Dallas. If you need to add any tickets or haven’t signed up, please reach out ASAP! If you are unable to attend, I will bring your swimmers end of season progress report to their last practice!
We will NOT have swim team practice from August 7th to August 20th to give our swimmers a small mental/physical break and to get ready for the new season! First practice back from break will be August 21st! I have also added two dates to our calendar that I will need every swimmer to attend. You can choose either one! This will be for new season roster pictures, and general team info/orientation. You can sign up through our team app for either August 21st or August 27th and we will meet at LAFitness on Lovers/Greenville. Times are attached to event details.
If you would like to do any additional training during our 2 week break please reach out to me! I have off-season conditioning and private swim training available! We had 6 referrals over the last couple weeks so thank you to all the parents for spreading the word! We have tripled the size of our team over the last couple months and have spread to 4 training locations! THANK YOU! I love seeing the swimmers improve, have fun and watch the team grow to be the best program in DFW!
