6 Jupiter Dragons Representing FGC at the All Star Meet
There are two associations in Florida, the Fl. Assoc. and the Fl. Gold Coast Assoc. Every year the two associations square off in a dual meet to see who has bragging rights for that year. Each association puts up their best swimmers and they dual it out.Jupiter Dragons qualified 6 swimmers from the FG Short Course Junior Olympics for the Florida All-Stars. They are Jacqueline Bedard, Brandon Hiebert, Hagen Kyle, Lucy Miller, Heidi Smithwick and Joshua Zuchowski This year, it was a close race but at the end the Florida Association won scoring 658 points to the Florida Gold Coast’s 614.
The DRAGONS had great swims at the meet and were able to score for Florida Gold Coast
Joshua Zuchowski won the High Point Award for 10&Under Boys placing 1st in 5 individual events - 50&100 Back, 50&100 Fly, 100 IM and a 2nd on 200 IM with 5 New Dragons Records!
Heidi Smithwick placed 3rd on 50 Fly with a New Dragons Record and 6th on 100 Breast for 10&Under Girls!
Lucy Miller placed 5th on 200 IM and 8th on 50 Free for 10&Under Girls!
Brandon Hiebert placed 6th on 50 Fly and 10th on 100 Free for 10&Under Boys!
Hagen Kyle placed 10th on 50 Breast for 10&Under Boys!
Jacqueline Bedard placed 10th on 500 Free for 11&12 Girls with a New Dragons Record!
