Pink Girls Gymnastics

Join us for our Girls Pink Gymnastics program, designed specifically for young girls interested in learning the fundamentals of gymnastics. Each class is one hour long and covers all four events - bars, beam, floor, and vault - as well as flexibility and strength training. Our experienced instructors will guide students through skills and routines that they can showcase in our in gym show case competitions throughout the year. This program is available for girls ages 4 to 6, 7 to 9, and 10 and up.

Pink Level 1 Girls Gymnastics

New to gymnastics? This is the place to start for 4-9 year-olds! Girls 10 years old and older begin in our Pink Level 2 classes (more information on that below). Girls in our Pink Level 1 classes learn proper fundamentals by learning USAG (the national governing body of gymnastics) Level 1 skills and routines on all four of the Olympic events - uneven bars, balance beam, floor, and vault. This level is split up into two age groups: 4-6 year-olds and 7-9 year-olds. Girls at this level work toward competing at our seasonal in-gym competitions and skill testing! A score of 32.0 or higher at an in-gym competition or a score of 80% or higher is required to move up to Pink Level 2.

Pink Level 2 Girls Gymnastics

Once girls in our Pink Level 1 classes have scored a 32.0 all-around or higher in our in-gym competitions or earned at least 80% proficiency in skill testing, it is time to move up to Level 2! Girls ages 10 and up get to start at this level. Girls in these classes learn USAG Level 2 skills and routines. At this level, girls continue to strenghten the fundamentals on each event and also begin to be introduced to more complex concepts and techniques. Pink Level 2 is split up into two age groups: 4-9 year-olds and 10+ year-olds. Girls at this level also get to work toward competing at our seasonal in-gym competitions and skill testing! A score of 32.0 or higher at an in-gym competition and a score of 80% or higher is required to move up to Pink Plus Level 3.

In-Gym Competitions

At MGA we host seasonal in-gym showcase competitions, where students get to show off what they've been learning in class and get a chance to compete for awards and earn their score to move up! Each competition has a special theme and is designed to be a fun and positive experience for students. For more information about our showcase competitions on our interactive member site, CLICK HERE.

Skill Testing

In addition to in-gym competitions, we host seasonal skill testing, where girls perform the individual skills that they've learned in class and receive a proficiency score on each skill. This provides valuable feedback for both parents and coaches on each child's progress and also gives children the chance to get the score they need to move up to the next level!
