Level 1: Wednesday 5:00-6:00; Saturday 12:00-1:00pm

Level 2: Tuesday/Thursday 5:00-6:30; Saturday 12:00-1:30pm

Level 3+: Monday - Friday 4:30-6:30; Saturday 10:00-12:00pm

High School: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:30-6:30pm; Saturday 10:00-12pm

 

Class Descriptions

Future Champions

Level-1

(Beginner) Level 1 is for an athlete who is new to diving and/or for whom diving is a casual but advancement-oriented focus.  This is for the beginner who is under age 8 and has never dove before.  There will be the option to compete against other beginners in meets throughout Florida.  Classes are 1 hour long.  Athletes can attend one or two practices per week.

Level-2

(Advanced Beginner) Level-2 This is for the beginner who is age 8 and over with little to no diving or gymnastics experience.  Participants have the option to attend one or two days a week.  Classes are 1.5 hours long.   

 

High School Diving 

(Beginner to Intermediate) HS diving is for athletes ages 13 and up and aspire to compete for their high school diving team.  The focus will primarily be on 1m diving.  Participants have the option to attend 2 or 3 days a week.   Classes are 2 hours long. 

 

Junior Olympic

Level-3

(Advanced Intermediate) is for those who have completed all of the requred skills in the future champions levels or for the higher level gymnast who wants to persue diving after leaving gymnastics.  This is for the serious athlete who is willing to travel and compete at National Championship meets.  This class will include more dryland training including strength and conditioning.  L3 divers will be requried to attend practice 4 days a week and travel to national championship qualifiers.  Classes are 2 hours long. 

Level-4

(Advanced) is defined by an athlete who dives year-round and for whom, other than school, diving is a primary focus.  A L4 diver is preparing to dive in college.  Further, a L4 competes at the JO level on a minimum of 1m and 3m.  Platform at the JO level is encouraged but not required.  Classes are 2.5 hours long.     

Level-5

(Senior) is defined by an athlete who dives year-round and for whom, other than school, is dedicated to their diving career.  A L5 palns to dive in college or Beyond.  Further, a L5 competes at the JO level on a minimum of 1m, 3m and is strongly encouraged to compete JO on platform.
