GCST Triathlete Wins Augusta Ironman
Danny Whalen had an outstanding Ironman Triathlon in Augusta, GA on September 25 as he won the 18-24 age group. Danny has been training with GCST and improving his swimming part of the race as the results are showing. The race was a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13 mile run to finish the event, and Danny completed the course in 4:23:50.
Danny has qualified to compete in the World Championship Half Ironman in Las Vegas, NV in September of 2012.
