UPDATE: SERVICE FOR SOPHIA IS TUESDAY 11/13
Dear Gulf Coast Swim Team Family and Friends:
It is with great sadness that I write to let you know we have lost a member of our swim team family. Sophia Fugate passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 following an unexpected illness. She was five years old.
Sophia will be remembered as an energetic, respectful, and kind hearted member of the team who adored swimming.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Lamb of God church, 19691 Cypress View Drive, Fort Myers, FL 33967.
The family has requested Gulf Coast Swim Team members to attend as Sophia basically grew up at the San Carlos Pool and loved attending practice on a regular basis. Please try and remember to wear Gulf Coast Swim Team apparel to the service to show your support for Sophia's love for swimming.
