Rays LC Invite meet recap
Better than 80 Tidal Wave swimmers competed in the first long course meet of the season. In fact, it was the first long course meet ever hosted at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center. While there were some growing pains early in the meet, our swimmers performed well. Nikolay Chernev jumped on the first meet, breaking team records in both 13-14 boys’ breaststrokes. Nikolay’s new standards are 1:09.76 and 2:32.54 for the 100 and 200, respectively. In total, we had eight swimmers establish new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 times. A full list of those times follows:
