Senior State and Futures re-cap

Two senior level championship meets were held over the weekend.  Senior States was held at UGA, while Futures was held in Ocala, FL.  Better than 20 Tidal Wave swimmers participated across the two meets.  Bennett Baer swam the fastest 200 back in team history – twice.  At Futures, Bennett swam a 2:10.99 during prelims, before recording a 2:10.70 in the finals session. Over the weekend, eight swimmers combined to establish fourteen new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims.  A full list of new Tidal Wave top 10 times follows:

13-14: John Jones: 400 IM – 5th (5:01.04); Senior: Kayla Wright: 200 free – 3rd (2:08.97); Bennett Baer: 200 back – 1st (2:10.70), 400 IM – 2nd (4:38.78); Jonah Corbitt: 100 free – 10th (54.81), 400 free – 5th (4:14.72), 1500 free – 5th (17:09.64); Lucas Hanna: 100 breast – 9th (1:10.72), 200 breast – 6th (2:34.32); Isaiah Martin: 100 breast – 2nd (1:06.34), 200 breast – 3rd (2:33.04); Luke Renier: 100 free – 5th (53.35), 100 breast – 8th (1:10.52); Jarrett Watkins: 100 back – 9th (1:02.91).  Great job swimmers!
