Southern Age Group Zones recap

Tidal Wave’s 2025 long course competitions are now complete.  Three Tidal Wave swimmers, Nikolay Chernev, John Jones, and Jaxon Ward represented Georgia Swimming at the Southern Zone Age Group Championships in Orlando, FL over the weekend.  They finished the season in strong fashion!  All three scored individual points to help Georgia secure a 5^th place team finish (Nikolay was the high point total for GA Swim).  Additionally, Nikolay established new team records in four 13-14 events (100 & 200 breast, 200 & 400 IM).  John and Jaxon each recorded new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims as well.  A full list of new top 10s follows:

13-14: Nikolay Chernev: 100 breast – 1^st (1:06.04), 200 breast – 1^st (2:28.06), 200 fly – 3^rd (2:14.98), 200 IM – 1^st (2:13.66), 400 IM – 1^st (4:43.61); John Jones: 1500 free – 7^th (18:02.89), 100 breast –5^th (1:14.40), 200 breast – 3^rd (2:34.67); Jaxon Ward: 100 fly – 6^th (1:01.57).  Great job gentlemen!!!
