IMR IMX Invite recap

The IMR IMX Invite served as our first multiday meet of the season.  Our swimmers were strong throughout the weekend, qualifying for many new state championship standards. Nikolay Chernev set four new team records (13-14 boys 100 breast, 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM)! His efforts led a group of six Tidal Wave swimmers, who established 16 new Tidal Wave All-Time Top 10 swims! Congratulations to Brady Brown, Preston Hatcher, Diana Korytska, Nikolay Chernev, Jaxon Ward, and John Jones on their new top 10 times. Following is a full list of new top 10 swims.
 

9-10: Brady Brown: 50 fly – 9^th (33.21); 11-12: Preston Hatcher: 200 free – 6^th (2:04.27), 500 free – 4^th (5:34.13), 100 IM – 10^th (1:05.96), 200 IM – 8^th (2:21.12); 13-14: Diana Korytska: 100 breast – 5^th (1:09.84), 200 breast – 8^th (2:31.28), 200 IM – 4^th (2:11.10); Nikolay Chernev: 500 free – 3^rd (4:53.48), 100 breast – 1^st (59.19), 100 fly – 2^nd (53.06), 200 fly – 1^st (1:59.29), 200 IM – 1^st (1:56.29), 400 IM – 1^st (4:09.64); Jaxon Ward: 100 fly – 6^th (55.47); Senior: John Jones: 200 breast – 9^th (2:14.16).  Great job swimmers!
