 Winter Qualifier

This past weekend Tidal Wave swimmers headed to Greater Atlanta Christian School, in Gwinnett,  to take another stab at completing the meet that started a week earlier. Despite cooler outdoor temperatures, the pool area provided a cozy warm environment for the swimmers who attended.

The swimmers took advantage of this and excelled in competing at a very high level!. So many new best times and several swimmers qualified for the upcoming Peach State and Age Group State Championships.

Congratulations to Porter McGowan and Lizzy Curran for qualifying for the Age Group State Meet and also to Daerie Johnson and Declan Schrank for qualifying for the Peach State meet! Woo Hoo!!!!

We also had some stand out individual swims, as Tidal Wave swimmers consistently raced to the finish and proved we are ready to succeed in the meets to come! One outstanding performance was put in by Chaya Hughes-Turner. She made her first AAA time in the 50 Breast, making her a Georgia All-Star!
