Coaches and Directors

Coach Jennifer started swimming at the age of five with her
summer league swim team and
swimming has been a huge part of her life since then. Throughout
age group swimming, she
qualified for many select teams through Katy Aquatics and Gulf
Swimming including Nationals,
US Open, Sectionals and Gulf All-Stars. She swam for Katy High
School where she was All-
American, Academic All-American, All-State and State Finalist all
four years including winning
State in the 100 Breaststroke. She was recruited to swim at Purdue
University on a swimming scholarship. At Purdue, Jennifer
qualified for NCAA Championships, was a Big Ten Finalist all four
years, Academic All-American
and school record holder in the 200 Breaststroke. She qualified for
the 2008 Olympic Trials in
the 100 Breaststroke. She coached many summer league teams in Katy
and West Lafayette, IN
during the summers off from school. After graduating from Purdue,
she went on to get a
Master’s Degree from Texas A&M where she coached swimming
and taught swim lessons while
working with the Texas A&M Athletic Department. Jennifer is
married to Blake, who was a well-
decorated swimmer as well, and they have 5 children, Caitlin,
Courtney, Camryn, Chloe and
Colson, 3 of whom swim with MARC. She homeschools her kids during
the day and loves
coming to the pool to coach in the afternoons.
She loves seeing the swimmers develop good technique and achieve
their goals, all while developing great friendships and a love for
the
water.
