It's that time. Registration for the 2025-26 season is rapidly approaching. Below is basic info you will need to know about this year's registration with SSAN. If at any point you have a question about the 2025-26 registration, please don't hesitate to reach out.
New to SSAN:
Step 1: Evaluation
If this is your first time to register with SSAN’s competitive or non-competitive team, please email [email protected] to schedule an evaluation to determine group placement.
Step 2: Registration
Important Dates:
Online registration for RETURNING Members opens: Wednesday, July 30 2025 at 1:00 pm
Online registration for NEW Members opens: August 1, 2025
We will have a second opportunity for in-person annual team fee /pay in full payment and team shirt/cap pick-up on Monday, August 11, Tuesday, August 12, and Wednesday, August 13, at Klein Oak from 5-7.
First day of practice for the 2025-26 swim year: Monday August 11 (you must be registered and pay for August to join practice)
SSAN Competitive and Noncompetitive Swim Team
1. Start of the New Swim Year
a. If the online registration is NOT complete by August 11, 2025, your swimmer’s membership will be deactivated and will not be able to participate in practice until you are registered.
b. Coaches will email your child's group placement to start the season if there is a change in groups from the previous season to help you with your family registration.
2. Billing
a. Payment in the online 2025-26 Registration will be for group fees for August 2025. Note: You WILL NOT be auto billed August 1.
b. First monthly auto-bill will be September 1, 2025
c. Any outstanding balances owed to the team must be paid prior to Tuesday July 29, 2025 or will be automatically applied/added to your 2025-26 registration.
3. USA Swimming registration
a. Please do NOT register with USA Swimming until September 1, 2025. More information about your USAS registration will be emailed out closer to September 1.
b. All competitive swimmers will have to register with USA Swimming with a Premium Athlete Membership
c. All noncomptitive swimmers ages 12 and under can register for a Flex Athlete Membership, while those 13 and over require a Premium Athlet Membership. If at anytime a swimmer decideds to move to the competitive team, a Premium Athlete membership is required.
d. A team link will be provided at the end of our online registration to USA Swimming’s OMR for SSAN
e. The USA Swimming registration must be completed in order to swim at practice and meets for insurance purposes.
4. Deactivation of Membership
a. If at any point you decide to take a break from SSAN during the swim year, a Deactivation form must be filled out before the 15th of the month prior to a member’s break.
b. The deactivation form can be found on our website under the Competitive Team tab
c. A $15.00 deactivation fee will be invoiced to your account upon completion of this form
d. A volunteer fee will be invoiced to your account if there are any incomplete volunteer shifts upon membership deactivation.
