Warm Up/Timing

Psych Sheet

• PLEASE SIGN UP FOR TIMING HERE. The meet will not begin until all timing positions are filled.

• Arrive 15 minutes before your warm-up to check in with your coach and familiarize yourself with the pool.

• Please have your team gear (Mardi Gras or Blue Shirt on Saturday, Green Shirt on Sunday). Check your swimmer's events through the ENTRIES link above. Please have event numbers on your swimmer's arm prior to arriving for warm-up.​

• The Meet Host is asking that ALL individuals enter the facility no more than 15 minutes before the start of their session.  

• All events 200 and below will be swum slowest to fastest. All distance events 400IM, 500 Free, 1000 Free, and 1650 Free will be swum fastest to slowest.

• Check-in, located on the table underneath the admin booth on the competition side of the pool, will be required for the following events: 500 FR, 400 IM, and 100/1650 FR. Check-in for events will be open until 30 Minutes before the session starts.

• Results can be found live on Meet Mobile throughout the meet and posted on swimtaq.net at the conclusion of the meet.

• Arriving in Baton Rouge on Friday can be a chore. If you arrive after 2pm the bridge leading into the city gets pretty backed up so please plan accordingly if your swimmer is competing Friday. Warm-ups start at 5pm, meet starts at 5:45pm. Contact Coach Clay if you need help with positive check-in for the 500 Free or 400 IM (Check-in due by 5:30pm). If you are arriving on Friday but not swimming, please bring the swimmer up to the pool for a quick 30-minute warm-up sometime between 4:30-7:00pm.

• If you ordered a Mardi Gras Shirt you will get it at the meet on Saturday from Coach Clay. We will be wearing them that day. If you missed the order Mrs. Amanda can still have one made for you (It will not be delivered until after the meet). • Group Me Information - This is a Parent forum for Texas Elite Updates and meet-up information during the Mardi Gras Meet. All meet-ups posted assume that each family makes their own reservations. • Notes from the Host

  • The spectator side of the pool will be the side with the dryland equipment and main bleachers and will be roped off. THERE WILL BE NO PARENTS ALLOWED ON THE POOL DECK! Please pack your kids with everything they need!

  • There are a few events going on throughout the weekend, so parking will be a bit limited. The Gravel Lot behind the pool is the safest bet all weekend and will be open. Saturday, there is a track meet so the main parking lot will be closed, and Sunday there is a basketball game so most of the lot will be closed.
