2024 NGSL Summer League Meet Schedule

Gwinnett Swim

Did you know that the GS Swim Team competes in summer league swimming too?

Yes! We are part of the North Georgia Swim League and we have our meet schedule ready so you can start planning now.

A few facts for those families who are new to summer swimming at GS.

1. You do not need to be registered with USA Swimming to swim in our summer league meet. You just need to be a member of our team.

2. We compete in two different types of meets, league-wide meets on Saturdays which include all the teams in league and dual meets which include one other team from the league.

3. Swimmers are welcome to compete in Gwinnett County Swim League meets with their neighborhood team and North Georgia Swim League meets with us.

4. All swimmers are welcome to compete in our League Championships, there are no qualifying times. The only prerequisite is they must have raced in at least one of the previous Saturday meets: Splash, Pentathlon or Invitational.

5. League Championships is a scored meet where we can bring home a trophy for our shelf. The past two years GS has brought home the 1st Place trophy for large teams. The coaches are looking to continue that trend. We need as many of our swimmers to swim in at least one Saturday meet and join us at League Championships to score points.

6. The Pentathlon is a meet for swimmers who are legal in all four strokes and comfortable swimming 100 IM. The fun part about this meet is that you can swim in all five events to compete for the Pentathlon winner for your age group. Special rosettes are given to those who score in the Pentathlon.

The Invitational is a meet for swimmers who are newer to swimming, still working on correct strokes but are excited to race.

Swimmer may only compete in one of these meets.

8. Summer league meets are the best! Hanging with friends while improving your swimming. Come join us!
