New to swimming, or looking to stay fit? Our Fit Swim and XTrain programs may be right for you! These programs are non-competitive, but still offer great training and skill development for youth between the ages of 10-15. If you are interested in joining our Fit Swim or XTrain programs, please contact our Head Coach for more information.
FitSwim is open to swimmers who are able to swim 25 metres of freestyle (front crawl) and backstroke comfortably, and who are still working on developing their technique and endurance.
XTrain is open to confident swimmers able to swim a minimum of 100 metres continuously (freestyle & backstroke). This is a great option for those who are former competitive swimmers, those who are interested in triathlon or cross training, or those who are currently pursuing lifesaving / lifeguarding courses and want to improve their technique and / or endurance.
** NOTE: Our Spring 2024 session will be a COMBINED FitSwim / XTrain group. Swimmers should be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres continuously to register for this program **
