Hi! I'm Anna.
Mama of two and former Speech-Language Pathologist. I've lived in Charleston most of my life; always on the water, swimming and boating. Childhood water safety is a necessity for our community. When I was six months post-partum with my first child, I read about a tragic drowning and began researching survival swim programs. I wanted to ensure the safety of my own children from a potentially threatening water event. My research concluded that Infant Aquatics has a recognizably superior survival swim method. The evidence visible in the results. To my surprise, Charleston did not have an IA instructor! I felt called to get certified and bring this treasure back to my family and our community. With my family's help and baby in tow, I was able to travel to Longmont, CO for the 6 week training and proudly became a Certified Infant Aquatics Instructor.
The ability to equip children with a fighting chance to survive a potentially fatal water accident is a gift to me. I am beyond grateful to share it with you.
Fun fact: I am an underwater limbo champ!

Hi! I'm Marisa.
I spent my childhood in Virginia Beach and have lived in Charleston for over 15 years. I enjoy spinning, running, yoga, and cooking. I dislike baking. I have previously worked in healthcare and senior living.
My oldest son completed swim lessons with Anna and it was truly amazing to see him go from timid and not swimming to confident around the water and now a little fish! The opportunity to work with Anna and teach children such a crucial life skill is very exciting and fulfilling.
My husband and I live on James Island with our two boys and Sheepadoodle named Larry David.
