Valley View Swim Team dives into State Meet

The Blazer Swim Team competed in the 2012 High School State meet on February 25.  Both the boys and the girls finished in 4th in all meets during the season.  At the District Meet in Paragould, the boys finished in 4th and the girls finished in 5th.  The boys 400 freestyle relay team, Xavier Madera, Nick Sciortino, Troy Tanner and Brody Stimach, qualified to compete at the state meet, placing 16th in their division.  Sciortino qualified for the 100 meter, finishing 12th, and the 200 meter butterfly, finishing 16th.  This is Coach Sean Cockrell's first season as the Blazer swim coach and will return next year.
