Coach Susie has been a high school teacher for 27 years at LTHS. She was the JV Girls Swim Coach for 10 years and the LTHS Girls Varsity Water Polo Coach for 11. She took time off the deck when her two daughters were young. She is thrilled to be back coaching Water Polo for LYONS Aquatics. Coaching high school girls water polo for the past 4 years has been amazing!
Coach Susie swam with LYONS starting at age 5! She still has a team record as part of a relay! While in high school at LT, she was a Junior Coach with LYONS. She then returned to coach Swim and Water Polo for LYONS Aquatics from 2000-2004. It seems like she has always come back "home" with LYONS! She was a successful distance swimmer at LT, but her #1 passion was always playing Water Polo! Coach Susie takes great pride in the success of the late '80s and early '90s Water Polo teams at LTHS during her playing days as a center
Coach Susie is currently the Assistant Division Chair for Physical Welfare at LT and teaches Scuba Diving, Lifeguard Training, Exercise Physiology, and Adventure Education. She has two daughters, Teagan (who swims and plays water polo) and Logan (who plays goalie on the soccer field).
