LFSC Distance Duck Meet

The Distance Duck Meet is an intra-squad meet with just 2 events (400 and 1500 free), held in December and June each year at Lake Forest College. The meet has been conducted continuously for 35 years, meaning almost every LFSC swimmer participated at some time.

Special recognition is given to swimmers who achieve the greatest time improvement ("The Big Drop Award") and establish team records. Swimmers who break 20 minutes in the 1500 achieve prestigious status as LFSC Distance Ducks and earn a special t-shirt.
