Coaches and Directors
Megan Edwards, Senior Director of Gymnastics
- Megan has worked for the YMCA for 13 years. Durning that time she has served many rolls. She has taught preschool classes, recreational classes, and coached all levels of preteam and the competitive team. She has been a part of the management team since early 2016 and has directed the program since 2018. Megan is a former competitive gymnast herself. She started taking classes at the age of 3 and ended her gymnastics career as a USAG level 7. Megan also competed on a National Championship Cheer Team, as well as cheering on her school team. She also has experience as a cheerleading coach. Outside the gym, Megan loves to shop, travel, and spend time with her daughter, Harper, and her son, Nolan. Megan’s favorite part of working for the YMCA is watching her kids and staff grow. She believes in the cause and mission of the Y and loves to carry it out.
Hannah Ketchum, Gymnastics Director
- Hanah has worked at the YMCA since 2019. She started as a gymnastics camp counselor, and then began coaching recreational classes and the competitive team. Her background is in competitve gymnastics, where she competed through USAG Level 7. She also did high school diving and cheerleading. Outside of working at the Y, she likes to take her dog on walks and read. Her favorite things about coaching at the Y is the positive community and being able to have fun while at work. Her coaching motto is "Empowering Self Confident Atheletes - instilling a sense of self-belief and fostering an environment where they feel empowered to perform."
Yaslin Rogers, Competitive Team Coach
- Yas has coached for the YMCA since 2019. She began as a recreational coach and quickly moved into the team program. Her background is in competitve gymnastics and cheerleading. Outside the Y, she enjoys watching movies and tv shows with friends. Her favorite thing about the Y is that this program gives talented the opportunity to grow into incredible athletes.
