Practice Notes:

New Prairie families continue to use door N18 to enter the building. Penn families use door D. If you arrive at Penn and the gallery door is locked, please feel free to get my attention on deck to let me know.

NASA Off The Blocks/Northridge High School/ May 3

The NASA meet is this coming Saturday. Here is a link to our entry as of 4/25. According to the meet letter there are two different scenarios for a meet timeline. The first scenario is a one session meet with warm-ups beginning at 8:00 and 9:30 meet start. The second scenario is a two session meet with 11 and over athletes in the morning (7:00 warmups/8:05 meet start) and 10 and under athletes in the afternoon (12:00 warmups/1:05 meet start). We have not been informed of which scenario they are going to use. As soon as I receive that information I will pass it along to our members.

CON Dual Meet/Concord High School/May 9

We have been receiving multiple questions about this meet from our members. At this time I still have limited information. This is what we know. This meet is on Friday. We believe the start time will be early evening. This is a whole team effort meet. I am confident we will receive all other pertinent information sometime this week. The deadline to commit to this meet is tonight, Sunday April 27.

VSC Spring Classic/Valparaiso High School/May 16-18

Here is a link to our entry as of 4/25. If you are planning on staying in Valpo for the weekend here is a link VSC provided us for a reduced hotel rate.

CON BW3 Blazin Invite/Elkhart Aquatic Center/May 30-June 1

The meet information for this meet was posted late last week. The meet letter with all pertinent information can be found by clicking here. The deadline to commit to this meet is tonight, Sunday April 27.

USA Memberships

We will need all of our athletes that have not done so already, to renew their USA Swimming memberships. Here is the link.

If you qualify for the Outreach Program email me and I will send you the link you will need to use for registrations.

Spring and Summer Meet Schedule/Dates of Meet/Location/Deadline to commit

This is our tentative meet schedule for the spring and summer. We may add meets if we find ones that fit our club’s needs or delete meets if there is not enough interest from our members. There will be two different dates listed with each meet The first date listed is the day(s) of the meet and the second date is the deadline to commit.

Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. The deadlines will be based on deadlines that were set in previous years. They may change once the meet hosts posts the meet information. When committing to multiple day meets, if the option to select the days you want is not available, leave a message in the notes section stating the specific days you would like to attend.

Some meets will be marked with an * and those will require swimmers to meet minimum time standards. You can view all pool locations on our website under the "Pools" tab.
